I am now officially a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Arts with a concentration in Film, Video, New Media and Animation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago! I was also awarded the James Nelson Raymond 2011 MFA Fellowship!

So last night was the opening for my first show in my new home of Chicago. Featured artist for the Dallas Contemporary!
Even though they totally got some of the info wrong (I have no idea where they got “1960s “cult” gay film comedies”), Dallas Contemporary has featured my video installation EVERYTHING TO GAIN in their August eNews bulletin. Texas Biennial Studio Visit Vid
The Texas Biennial opened last weekend. Included in the group show at the MACC is my video PAUL (FOR PETER AND LUKE). Also, the Biennial posted a short video of me talking about the FANTASY VISION MEDITATION series during my studio visit with Michael Duncan, curator of the Biennial and Xochi Solis, the director.
